Devnet Reset Scheduled for Tue, Sep 19, 2023

by Team RippleX

As previously announced, the RippleX-managed Devnet test network will be reset. This reset has been scheduled for Tuesday, September 19, 2023.

At the time of the reset, a brief Devnet outage of less than one hour is expected.

If you have any tests or demos that rely on existing Devnet accounts and data, you will have to recreate that data after the reset. There are no effects anticipated on Testnet, Mainnet, or other networks.

In general, Devnet can be reset at any time, as the network's sole purpose is testing of in-development features which may not yet be stable. Demos, tutorials, and apps that use Devnet should automatically re-create any necessary data as needed.

Upcoming Devnet Reset

by Team RippleX

We are resetting Devnet due to incompatibility with a previous in-development version of the AMM (Automated Market Maker) amendment that was included in a beta release of the XRP Ledger core server. If you have any tests or demos that rely on existing Devnet accounts and data, you will have to recreate that data after the reset. There are no effects anticipated on Testnet, Mainnet, or other networks.

The NFT-Devnet Decommissioned on January 31, 2023

The "NFT-Devnet" was a test network running experimental code to support Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) natively on the XRP Ledger (per the XLS-20 standard).

The NFT-Devnet server has been down for unrelated reasons since January 16th, 2023. Given that there have been no inquiries from developers, it is likely all users have reconfigured their sample applications to use the XRP Testnet. We encourage you to move to the XRP Testnet at your earliest convenience.

The "NFT-Devnet" preview server is now decommissioned and will not return to service.
