Version 1.9.4 of rippled, the reference server implementation of the XRP Ledger protocol, is now available. This release introduces a new amendment to the XRP Ledger protocol, fixRemoveNFTokenAutoTrustLine, to mitigate a potential denial-of-service attack against non-fungible token (NFT) issuers.

Get Ready for NFTs

The NonFungibleTokensV1_1 amendment to the XRP Ledger, introduced in version 1.9.2 of the rippled server implementation, has gained support from a majority of trusted validators. Currently, it is expected to become enabled on 2022-09-13. As long as the NonFungibleTokensV1_1 amendment continues to have the support of over 80% of trusted validators continuously, it will become enabled on the scheduled date, adding native support for non-fungible tokens (NFTs) to the ledger, following the XLS-20 specification.

Introducing XRP Ledger version 1.9.3

Version 1.9.3 of rippled, the reference server implementation of the XRP Ledger protocol, is now available. This release corrects a technical flaw that could cause servers to incorrectly process stored amendment votes during startup and fixes a minor issue with with copy constructor of PublicKey.

Introducing XRP Ledger version 1.9.1

Version 1.9.1 of rippled, the reference server implementation of the XRP Ledger protocol, is now available. This release includes several important fixes, including a fix for a syncing issue from 1.9.0, a new fix amendment to correct a bug in the new Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) code, and a new amendment to allow multi-signing by up to 32 signers.

The NFT-Devnet Has Been Reset

The "NFT-Devnet" is a test network running experimental code to support Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) natively on the XRP Ledger (per the XLS-20 draft standard). Ripple has reset the NFT-Devnet while upgrading it to the latest version of the preview code.
