The XRP Ledger is transparent by design, and explorers give you access to that data. Explorers are browser-based tools that let anyone view the real-time, on-chain data for the XRP Ledger Mainnet and the test networks, without special permission or an account.
Explorers provide information about consensus and transactions.
- Account monitoring: Real-time query of any XRP Ledger address's balance and transaction history, including balance changes, sender and receiver addresses, and timestamps.
- Transaction verification: Details of a single transaction, including the sender and receiver addresses, amount, fee, status, and the
ledger_indexvalue of the ledger version that contains it. - Network analysis: Real-time status of the entire network, such as transaction throughput, the number of active addresses, ledger close times, and other macro indicators.
- Asset traceability: Tracking for the flow paths of XRP and other tokens issued on the XRP Ledger, such as stablecoins.
